variety of plans that can be custom tailored to an employer’s exact
situation and further tailored for employees’ specific needs. The
plans can be combinations of low-cost term life plans with rate
guarantees out 10, 20 or even 30 years, Universal Life plans with
premiums earning attractive interest rates in cash values that belong
to the policyholder, and plans that provide paid up coverage at
retirement (which can replace the loss of the employer-provided group
term).
